Use half of the onion and slice it into strands. Place them in a sauté pan with oil to caramelize them. Add a little salt and pepper. Let them cool. Quarter the strawberries to garnish the salad. Crumble the goat cheese by hand. Plate the mixed greens and add the strawberries, goat cheese and onions on top. Pour the balsamic vinegar on to finish.
