Aval Nanachathu

Aval is a simple poha recipe and is a very healthy breakfast. Pohas are nothing but beaten rice and are eaten for breakfast across many sates in India with slight variations.

Ingredients

  • 300gms Aval (Poha)
  • 100gms fresh Coconut, grated/coconut milk
  • ¼ teaspoon of Salt
  • 80gms Jaggery
  • ½ teaspoon cardamom powder
  • ½ cup Coconut Water
  1. In a bowl mix poha, grated jaggery and coconut milk.
  2. Stir in cardamom powder and salt. Set aside one hour.
  3. Serve with tea or coffee
